What is print on demand?
Print on demand (POD) is a way of making things in which each item is produced only after someone orders it, never before.
There's no warehouse full of pre-printed stock, no guessing which sizes or designs will sell, and no minimum order. You upload or generate a design, choose a product, and a single finished piece is printed, checked and shipped just for you. Order one, or order a hundred: the process is the same.
Compared with traditional bulk manufacturing, where you commit to hundreds of units up front and hope they sell, print on demand flips the risk on its head. It's why independent creators, small businesses and gift-givers across Pakistan have moved to it: custom apparel, personalised mugs and wall art with zero inventory and zero waste.
Print on demand means your idea is manufactured the moment it's wanted: one at a time, on demand, with no stock left over.
How Osaadi works, step by step
From a half-formed idea to a parcel at your door, the whole journey is four steps, and most of it happens within 48 hours.
- Describe or upload. Type what you want into the Osaadi Studio and see it live on the product, or upload your own artwork. You'll see a live preview either way.
- Choose your product. Pick the tee, mug, print, case or tote, along with the colour, size and placement. The price updates instantly.
- We print & check. Your order routes to the right press (DTG, sublimation, vinyl or UV), and a human quality-checks every piece before it's packed.
- It ships to your door. You get a tracking link, and the parcel arrives in 1–5 working days depending on your city.
What you can customise
If it can be printed beautifully and shipped safely, it's fair game. Here's where most people start, and what makes each one sing.
Custom apparel
Tees, hoodies and caps are where most people start, and where print quality shows the most.
We print on ring-spun cotton and premium blends chosen for softness and durability. DTG handles your photographic and full-colour designs, while heat-transfer vinyl gives names and numbers a bold, hard-wearing finish for team kits. Sizes run XS–3XL with a true-to-size fit.
Drinkware
A mug is the desk companion that turns a morning ritual into a tiny moment of joy.
Our 11oz ceramic mugs are sublimation-printed, so the design becomes part of the glaze: dishwasher and microwave safe, with colour that never fades. Stainless bottles get the same all-over treatment for gym bags and commutes.
Wall art & prints
Giclée-quality prints on heavyweight matte stock, ready to frame or framed for you.
Archival pigment inks resist fading for decades, and our paper has a subtle tooth that reads as gallery, not poster. Choose from A4 to A2, or add a solid-wood frame for a gift that arrives ready to hang.
Accessories & extras
Phone cases, tote bags and sticker packs: the small things that carry your personality around.
UV printing wraps sharp, scratch-resistant graphics around snap and tough cases. Canvas totes take a heavyweight DTG print, and our die-cut stickers are weatherproof and dishwasher-safe for laptops, bottles and journals.
Printing methods, explained
There's no single “best” way to print: the right method depends on the product, the artwork and how it'll be used. We pick automatically, but it helps to know the difference.
DTG (Direct-to-Garment)
Ink is sprayed straight into the fabric by a specialised printer, the way an inkjet prints on paper. Brilliant for photographic, full-colour artwork with fine gradients and unlimited colours.
Side by side
| Method | Best for | Surface | Durability |
|---|---|---|---|
| DTG | Detailed art, photos, many colours | Cotton & cotton-blend apparel | ★★★★ |
| Dye Sublimation | All-over prints, mugs, polyester | Mugs, poly apparel, hard goods | ★★★★★ |
| Heat-Transfer Vinyl | Names, numbers, bold solids | Apparel, tote bags, caps | ★★★★★ |
| UV Printing | Cases, bottles, hard surfaces | Phone cases, bottles, acrylic | ★★★★★ |
Materials & quality
A print is only as good as what it's printed on. We obsess over the blank as much as the design.
Fabric weight (GSM)
Our everyday tees sit at 180–200 GSM ring-spun cotton: substantial enough to feel premium and hold colour, light enough for Pakistani summers. Heavyweight hoodies run 320–350 GSM with brushed-back fleece for that cosy structure.
Inks & longevity
We print with water-based, OEKO-TEX-certified inks that stay soft on the fabric rather than sitting on top like a sticker. On wall art we use archival pigment inks rated to resist fading for decades. Cared for properly, your print will outlast the product.
Colour accuracy
Every design is converted into a calibrated colour profile so what you approve in the preview is what comes off the press, with no muddy greens or washed-out pinks.
How to design something worth printing
You don't need to be a designer. But a few habits separate a print that pops from one that disappoints.
- Go high-resolution. Aim for 300 DPI at print size: roughly a 3000×3000-pixel file for a chest print. Tiny web images will look blocky once enlarged.
- Mind the contrast. A design needs to read against the garment colour. Light art on dark fabric (and vice versa) almost always wins.
- Embrace negative space. The strongest merch is rarely the busiest. One bold idea beats five competing ones.
- Use vectors for logos & type. SVG or PDF scales to any size with razor-sharp edges, perfect for names, numbers and brand marks.
- Preview before you commit. Always check the mockup. What looks right on a screen can sit too high or too small on the real product.
No artwork? Type your idea into the Osaadi Studio and see it on a real product instantly, then drop straight into your cart.
Who print on demand is for
The same press that makes one personal gift makes a hundred staff tees. Here's how people use Osaadi.
Gifts that mean something
A mug with an inside joke, a framed print of a first home, a tee with someone's catchphrase. Personalised gifts land harder than anything off a shelf.
Creators & communities
Turn your audience into a merch line with zero inventory. Drop a design, we print and ship each order as it comes in, and you keep the upside.
Businesses & teams
Branded staff tees, welcome kits, event swag and client gifts: on-brand, on-demand, with no minimum-order warehouse gathering dust.
Events & occasions
Weddings, mehndis, reunions, sports days and farewells. Match the colours, name the crew, and order exactly the count you need.
Pricing & quantity
Because there's no inventory to fund, a single custom piece costs the same per unit as a small batch. Order more for an event or team, and discounts apply automatically, with no haggling and no quotes.
What will it cost?
Drag the quantity, and bulk pricing applies automatically.

Shipping across Pakistan
We dispatch nationwide with tracked courier delivery. Delivery is free on every order. Typical times by city:
Remote and northern areas may take a little longer, and we'll always show the estimate at checkout. International shipping is available on request for bulk orders.
Why print-to-order is greener
Fast fashion's dirty secret is overproduction: mountains of unsold stock end up in landfill. Print on demand simply never makes that surplus.
By making one thing at a time, we cut waste at the source, and your order arrives in recyclable, plastic-free packaging.
Why order from Osaadi
We're a new Pakistani brand, so we earn trust the hard way: on quality, not claims.

Every order is inspected by a real person before it's packed.
7-day reprint promise

48-hour dispatch

Frequently asked questions
There's no minimum order at Osaadi. Because every item is printed to order, you can buy a single tee or a single mug at the same per-unit price as a larger order. Bulk discounts kick in automatically at 10, 25, 50 and 100 pieces for teams and events.
Printing takes 24 to 48 hours, and delivery typically adds 1 to 2 working days to Karachi, Lahore and major cities, or 3 to 5 days to remote areas. Orders are quality-checked before being handed to our courier, and you'll get a tracking link the moment it ships.
No, the print will not fade, crack or peel when cared for properly. We use DTG, sublimation, vinyl and UV methods matched to each product, and every print is cured so it bonds to the material. Wash inside-out in cold water, skip the tumble dryer on high heat, and your design will outlast the garment.
Yes, you can upload your own artwork in a high-resolution PNG, JPG or PDF format (300 DPI at print size is ideal), or describe what you want and let the Osaadi Studio generate a design for you. We always preview the final layout before anything is printed.
PNG with a transparent background is best for apparel, at a minimum of 300 DPI at the size it will print, roughly 3000×3000 pixels for a chest print. Vector files (SVG, AI, PDF) are perfect for logos and bold graphics because they scale without losing sharpness.
Yes, Osaadi handles staff uniforms, event merchandise, welcome kits and client gifts with tiered pricing, brand-colour matching and dedicated support. Volume discounts start at 10 units and grow up to 30% off at 100 or more.
If an item arrives misprinted, damaged or different from your approved preview, Osaadi reprints or refunds it, no questions asked, within 7 days. Personalised items can't be resold, so we don't accept change-of-mind returns.
You can personalise apparel (tees, hoodies, caps), drinkware (mugs, bottles), wall art and framed prints, phone cases, tote bags, and sticker packs. If it can be printed beautifully and shipped safely, it's in the catalogue.
Print-on-demand glossary
The jargon, demystified.
- Print on demand (POD)
- A model where each item is produced only after it's ordered, with no bulk inventory, no waste, and no minimums.
- DTG
- Direct-to-garment: an inkjet-style printer that sprays ink into fabric for detailed, full-colour apparel prints.
- Sublimation

- Bleed
- Extra artwork beyond the trim edge that ensures an all-over print reaches the very edge with no white gaps.
